The second half saw Fontenay attempt to regroup and mount a comeback. However, PSG’s defense, anchored by veteran players, effectively neutralized any threats. In the 65th minute, Dembélé added to the scoreline, converting a cross from Achraf Hakimi. This goal marked Dembélé’s first in the French Cup this season and underscored his importance to the team as they navigate multiple competitions.
PSG’s final goal came in the 80th minute, when Neymar, another key figure in the squad, scored from a penalty after being fouled inside the box.
